\fBkhotnewstuff\fP is a tool to test GHNS repositories. It calls the download dialog for arbitrary GHNS repositories and can apply filters given on the command line.

GHNS means "Get Hot New Stuff" and is a data sharing concept. It allows you to install new stuff like applets, plugins, data, sounds and wallpapers for instant use in your KDE applications.

GHNS consists of server installations to provide repositories and a client\-side framework to use them. In KDE the client-side framework is called \fBKHotNewStuff\fP.
